Activity Days for schools
We offer three different types of activity days for schools; a day offsite, a full day or half a day on our site, or a full day or half a day in your school grounds.
Offsite outdoor learning and
adventure day
Take learning out of the classroom to the gorges, caves and hills of the Black Mountains and Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons). Our offsite activities take place over a whole day and can include caving, gorge scrambling, canoeing, rock climbing and mountain walking. Find out more about our offsite activities here.
Onsite outdoor learning and
adventure day
Our onsite outdoor learning and adventures take place on our beautiful 16 acre site. There are a host of activities to choose from including high ropes course, leap of faith, low ropes course, climbing tower, paddle boarding, raft building, woodland sessions, team challenges, archery and orienteering. Outdoor learning and adventure
on your school site
We can bring the adventure to you! Take the class room outside and have a full day or half a day of outdoor learning and adventure on your school site. Activities can include archery, orienteering, team challenges, forest school, bush craft and local walks.
What do you need to bring on your activity day?
If you are doing activities on our site or offsite you will need a packed lunch, snacks and a bottle of water, and whatever activity you are doing a full change of clothes is always useful. Click on the button below to download our activity day kit list.
