Safety and Wellbeing
Safety and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do. Activities are tailored to the needs, abilities and experience of each participant and all of our staff are highly trained and DBS registered. We have a range of accreditations that demonstrate that we have been externally assessed; these include having an AALA licence, an AHOEC Gold Standard, and a Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge.
We carefully assess all of our activities to understand any potential hazards, and we put strong measures in place to keep risks as low as reasonably possible. For those activities where some level of risk naturally remains, we carry out a thorough risk–benefit analysis to make sure the positive learning experiences far outweigh any remaining risk. Our aim is always to provide safe, fun and enriching outdoor learning and adventures.
